Blue Dot Sessions is a library of over 2000 acoustic and minimalist tracks, all recorded here at Blue Dot Studios.

We write original music for radio shows and podcasts (scoring for shows like Invisibilia, Criminal and Heavyweight) and we compose and mix our music specifically for public radio and podcasts.   We make available our multitrack stem files as well as alternate mixes and variations and licensing is inexpensive and easy.

Instead of keeping track of the music you use and licensing tracks individually, you can subscribe to a blanket license that covers all the music in your podcast or YouTube channel.

You’ll have full access to our online database of multitrack stem files and variation files via our website which has an easy interface to filter our library of 1000s of tracks by mood or instrument.

As podcasters make the transition to supporting themselves via advertising, crowdfunding and syndication. It can be hard to figure out where to turn for pre-cleared music. Part of our inspiration for starting Blue Dot Sessions was our own experience trying to find and make use of music for radio and podcast production. When every episode might contain 5-10 different artists, getting in touch and negotiating licenses can be a part-time job. We know, we’ve been there!

Your monthly license fee covers a single project or show for as long as you need and can be canceled at any time. The license covers any work published during the window of the license and that work is covered forever (even after you cancel your license).

After subscribing you’ll receive a login to our website that will give you immediate access to download stem files and all of the full quality tracks from the Blue Dot library.
